On the way out of Zion National Park, there was a buffalo ranch. We had to stop by to check them out, as we haven't seen any out and about on our trip.
It was getting late, and we needed to find somewhere to stay for the night. There were mostly very small towns around here, and we checked prior to getting into the park, and they didn’t have vacancies. We headed towards Cedar City, because it is a bit larger. To get to Cedar City, we had to weave up and down, left and right, around mountains. We saw SO many deer! Some had huge antlers, but for the most part, they were does. Many were right next to the road, making us slow down, or even stop. When we came to one of the openings, we saw a herd of elk. There were a bunch of them, at least twenty-five. When Ryan started yelling, the whole herd started running. It was really neat to see.
