Kid Free!

We just went out to dinner, sans kids! First time EVER that we just up and left our kids at home alone to go out. It feels nice, it has been a long time coming!!

The kids are staying at Grandpa Fisher's tonight, because I work tomorrow, and they are off for Christmas break.

A Person

Ryan went to bed at 8:15, it is now 9:36 he is mad because we keep telling him to go to bed. I already tried laying by him for 30 minutes, it is NOT working.
Ryan comes out and says, "you are treating me like a person, and I don't like the way you are treating me"!

Earlier in the night, he was an underwear ninja, and a happy, cuddly boy.

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year, from our family.

We did some playing of the game, Sequence, ate some brownies and drank champagne (or sparkling grape juice for the kids)! Jake and Amaya played on the new Xbox, and we all watched Despicable Me, the movie. It was a nice night:)

Then Ryan, Scott, and Mom watched The Goonies!! ( a loved movie from my childhood)

Elf

Well, an Elf, has decided to show himself! After all these years, the invisible, little guy has become visible to our family. I think it was because of all Ryan's constant whining.......other kids have an elf!!!
